 Leonard da Vinci was born on 14th April, 1425 in Italy. His father was a notary and his mother was a housewife; they lived in the city of Vinci. Leonardo loved science and arts, he would spend all his free time drawing. He had a very peculiar feature, he wrote with one hand and painted with the other! Later on his life, he moved to Florence to work with the Medici’s family. You may recognize some of Leonardo’s art work like “The Last Supper” and “Mona Lisa”.
